Great Racing at Canton, Ohio Bikedays . We would like to thank those who put on the Canton Bike Days 1/2 mile races, we enjoyed ourselves very much. Also it was nice to put some faces to the screen names here on the forum, Don Potter, Rich Long. .Charlie Dunn . .
I just wanted to thank Scott Brown and everyone who put together a great weekend of racing at Bikedays in Canton, Ohio. We had a great time and saw some amazing racing. The weather cooperated and our group had a lot of fun. We all wish Tyler Butts a speedy recovery!!

I do want to specifically thank a few people……
Whenever I’m announcing, I can’t eat anything until I’m done for the day……so I owe a HUGE thanks to the gang in the pits, where I was offered delicious pizza, and some “ice cold beverage”, to go along with great bench racing Saturday night. That definitely hit the spot!
I was fortunate to meet so many riders from all over the country and Canada, I thoroughly enjoyed yacking with everyone!
Thanks to all registration / scoring staff of Bike Days, for squaring me away with the paperwork and detailed rider information that made my task a walk in the park.
Thanks to Don Potter for the bench racing sessions, supplying me with all those tidbits of info and keeping us company at the top of the grandstand. (be patient Don, I’ll give you a full review of that footage you gave me, and thanks for that too)
Thanks to Brian of Mix 106.5……definitely the right man for keeping the crowd entertained during those breaks for track grooming…….was great working with you all weekend.
Thanks to Ed Jerew for your help, assistance and updates of program changes……it was as though we had worked together for years.
Great job Rob…….I wouldn’t have wanted your duties this weekend.
Last but CERTAINLY not least, thank you Scott Brown for all your dutiful work in producing an event of that caliber…..I’m thinking you should tackle a GNC next.

Thanks Scotty Brown for a GREAT WEEKEND of racing .
| | Finally we had some weather and a great track. The competition was awesome. A record of 210 entries Sat and over 125 Sunday. Scotty does one fantastic job with the whole show and definately deserves a hugh thumbs up. The guy literally works his rear off all year for that and it certainly shows. Year after year you and your staff do a great job with the AMA Bikedays event, we really appreciate the time and effort that you put into the Dirttrack racing series. We always put your Bikedays event into our calender and are already looking forward to next year. Thank you! The Wells family .
